1. What are the tuition costs at Heritage Christian Academy?
Tuition costs vary based on the number of students in the same family. On the top menu bar click “Admissions” – the tuition schedule is form #6
2. What are the school hours?
School hours are 8:25 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.
3. Do you provide for early arrival in the morning and late stay in the afternoon?
Yes, students may arrive as early as 7:30 a.m. and stay as late as 6:00 p.m. Families who arrive before 8:00 a.m. will be charged $3.00 per day for each student and those staying after 3:30 will be charged $7.00 per day for each student.
4. Do you have a lunch program?
No, as a rule students will provide their own lunch. We do provide limited lunch items that the students may purchase. A lunch menu will be provided the first week of school. We also have snack and drink vending machines.
5. Do you provide transportation?
No, parents transport their own children to school. However, in NJ participating school districts provide a transportation refund in the amount of $890.00 per student for the school year. HCA will provide you with the proper forms to fill and submit for this benefit.
6. Do you provide computer training?
Yes, each student from K-4 through the twelfth grade receives computer training.
7. Do you provide a traditional classroom setting?
Yes, we provide an excellent education in a traditional setting.
8. Are your teachers certified by the state?
We do not require state certification for our teachers but our teachers are highly encouraged to seek their certification through the American Association of Christian Schools or another approved Christian organization.
9. Do you have a dress code?
Yes, we have a conservative dress code for our students. Details are given in our Parent/Student Handbook.
10. Must our family attend Heritage Baptist Church for our children to attend Heritage Christian Academy?
No, however all of our school families are expected to attend a good Bible believing church on a regular basis.
