Executive Administrator: Dr. Roy R. Wise, Pastor
Dr. Roy R. Wise is the Pastor of Heritage Baptist Church and the Executive Administrator of Heritage Christian Academy. Dr. Wise has served at Heritage since 2001. He has pastored and been associated with Christian schools for nearly 40 years.

Administrator: Mr. Ronald Hamilton
Ronald W. Hamilton has been the Administrator of Heritage Christian Academy since June of 2000. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Bob Jones University. He holds professional teaching certificates from the American Association of Christian Schools. Mr. Hamilton has earned over twenty hours of graduate credits in school administration. Mr. Hamilton has been in Christian education for over 30 years and has served as a classroom teacher, coach, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, Athletic Director, and Administrator. Mr. Hamilton presently serves as a board member on the Garden State Association of Christian Schools.

K-4 Teacher: Miss Heather Detwiler
Miss Detwiler has a three year Associate of Applied Arts Degree in Child Care Ministries from Bob Jones University. She is currently working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (with Special Education emphasis) from Kendall College. Miss Detwiler has earned additional CEU credits from Camden County College and Bob Jones University. Miss Detwiler is beginning her thirteenth year of teaching in Christian schools. Her “professional certification” is with The American Association of Christian Schools. She also serves in the church nursery at Heritage Baptist Church and occasionally does volunteer work at the Collingswood Manor (a senior citizen community) in Collingswood, NJ. Miss Detwiler has been saved for 31 years and is confident of her calling to Christian education.
K-5 Teacher: Mrs. Tami Harris
Mrs. Harris has been teaching at Heritage Christian Academy for 9 years. She has taught several grades and subjects including Consumer Math and facilitating live interactive network classes. She is currently teaching the Kindergarten class. She is the Eagle Eye Faculty Advisor. Mrs. Harris has 3 children (her oldest is an alumnus of Heritage Christian Academy). She is a graduate of The Pilgrim Academy in Galloway, NJ. Mrs. Harris holds an Associates of Arts in Early Childhood Education. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Special Education through online classes at Kendall College. Mrs. Harris loves teaching and believes that this is the Lord's will for her life.
First and Second Grade Teacher: Miss Erica McPherson
Miss McPherson is beginning her third year as the first and second grade teacher at Heritage Christian Academy. She is a graduate of Philadelphia Biblical University with a duel Bachelors Degree in Bible and elementary education. She has her ACSI(American Christian Schools International) certificate and is certified to teach kindergarten through eighth grade. Miss McPherson also has her Pennsylvania teaching certificate which enables her to be able to teach elementary school (K-6th) in public schools in Pennsylvania. Miss McPherson is prayerfully considering going back to school for her masters degree in special education.
Third and Fourth Grade Teacher: Mrs. Christine Buckingham
Christine Buckingham is currently beginning her sixth year of teaching at Heritage Christian Academy. She has earned a Bachelor's Degree from Bob Jones University in Elementary Education. Christine is currently taking online classes for a degree in Special Education. She is also a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
Fifth and Sixth Grade Teacher: Mrs. Donna Street
Donna Street has taught the fifth and sixth grades at Heritage Christian Academy since 2008. She previously worked in the Eastampton School District for five years. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Trenton State College with a dual major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She serves regularly as the Vacation Bible School Director at New Testament Baptist Church where she is a member, and has written the VBS curriculum for her church.
Secondary Teacher: Pastor Eric J. Hamilton
Pastor Eric is the Youth Pastor of Heritage Baptist Church and serves as a teacher at Heritage Christian Academy. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Studies from Bob Jones University in 2005. He has completed 14 credit hours of seminary work towards a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies. Pastor Eric serves as the youth pastor and music director of Heritage Baptist Church and teaches Bible, math, and is the athletic director at the school. Pastor Eric was recently awarded the Rev. Al Monson Teacher’s Fellowship Award from the Garden State Association of Christian Schools.
Secondary Teacher: Mr. George Xenophontos
Mr. Xenophontos (“Mr. X.”) graduated from Bob Jones University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education and a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling. In 2001, he was recognized in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and College for his extracurricular involvement during college.
Honored in 2007 by GSACS as HCA’s Teacher of Year, he continues to serve the campus in various capacities: Social Studies, Bible, Senior Seminar, Class Sponsor, Student Council, and Eagle Eye writer. He also serves Heritage Baptist Church as a Deacon, Youth Worker, and as the Evangelism-Visitation Coordinator. Further, his first book, Duty of Don’t, is set to be released in September 2009. Mr. Xenophontos and his wife are expecting their second child in the Spring of 2010.
