First Grade
The first grade instruction will help your student grow in reading, comprehension, and writing skills. The first grade materials will direct the students growing desire to learn with studies in addition and subtraction, measurement, the discovery of the New World, and the scientific view of God's creation. Second Grade
From nouns, verbs, and adjectives to multiplication and place value, the student will grow in wisdom and knowledge with quality instructional materials written and taught from a Biblical perspective and designed for “growing” the whole child. The second grade curriculum includes Bible, science, heritage studies, math, english, reading, spelling, handwriting, and music.
Third Grade
Third graders are at a fundamental stage of developing the habits, character, and discipline that will carry them through life. The third grade instruction will help guide the students in reading skills, scientific classification, problem solving, and much more. Fourth Grade
The fourth grade students will develop new confidence as they work toward better academic achievement in research, refine writing and punctuation skills, and easily handle math operations.The fourth grade curriculum includes Bible, science, heritage studies, math, english, reading, spelling, handwriting, and music.
Fifth Grade
The fifth grade students will learn more about working with fractions, read with better understanding, and learn about the struggles and achievements of the twentieth century. Most importantly, they will biblical truth integrated across academic disciplines, see godly character clearly defined, and learn man's place in God's creation. The fifth grade curriculum includes Bible, science, heritage studies, math, english, reading, spelling, handwriting, and music.
Sixth Grade
A study of the ancient lands and peoples, the writing of a short research paper, lessons in pre-algebra, percent, proportion, and statistics; and the development of literary skills are all included in the sixth grade instruction. All are taught with the Bible clearly in view. The sixth grade curriculum includes Bible, science, heritage studies, math, english reading, spelling, handwriting, and music.
